Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LYS-SEN mobile application operated by Lyssen ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use LYS-SEN. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 18 or older. We reserve the right to terminate accounts where age cannot be verified.
2. What LYS-SEN Is
LYS-SEN is a platform that connects people who want someone to talk to ("Seekers") with independent listeners ("Companions"). Companions are independent contractors, not employees of Lyssen. We do not guarantee the availability, quality, or conduct of any Companion.
LYS-SEN is a social companionship platform only. It is not a mental health service, therapy, counselling, or crisis intervention service. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.
3. Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You may not share your account with others
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account
- You may only hold one account per person
4. Payments & Wallet
- Seekers must top up a wallet balance before starting a session
- Sessions are billed per minute at the Companion's listed rate
- Billing begins when both parties are connected and continues until either party ends the session
- Wallet top-ups are non-refundable once funds have been used in a session. Unused wallet balances may be refunded by contacting support within 30 days of the top-up
- Companions receive their earnings via Stripe Connect. Payouts are subject to Stripe's terms and identity verification requirements
- We reserve the right to hold or withhold earnings if we suspect fraud or policy violations
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use LYS-SEN to:
- Solicit or engage in sexual, romantic, or illegal activity
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Share personal contact information (phone numbers, email, social media) to bypass the platform
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Attempt to manipulate ratings, reviews, or billing
- Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the platform
- Transmit spam, malware, or harmful content
All messages are subject to automated moderation. Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.
6. Companion Conduct
Companions who register on LYS-SEN agree to:
- Provide accurate profile information and maintain a professional standard of conduct
- Not engage in or solicit any activity that violates these Terms
- Complete Stripe Connect identity verification before receiving any payouts
- Not manipulate their online status to artificially inflate earnings
7. Reporting & Blocking
Users may block or report other users at any time. Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. We reserve the right to remove any user, content, or session at our sole discretion.
8. Intellectual Property
The LYS-SEN app, logo, and all associated content are owned by Lyssen. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app without our written permission.
9. Disclaimers
LYS-SEN is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for the conduct of any Companion or Seeker. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@lyssen.app. Upon termination, any unused wallet balance may be forfeited if the termination is due to a Terms violation.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the app or by email. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
